Western Washington University invites applications for a professional staff position, with the primary role being to train, supervise, and assist students, faculty and visitors in the operation of the LA-ICP-MS for geoscience applications. This is a permanent, part-time (70% FTE, 12 month) position. We expect the person we hire to collaborate with faculty and students on research projects, to develop and pursue projects and proposals for external funding, and to refine and develop laboratory methods and procedures for geoscience applications of geochemistry.
