About the Position Provide clinical assessment, referral, psychological counseling, and crisis intervention to university students. Provide clinical supervision to graduate pre-doctoral and masters trainees. Facilitate group therapy. Facilitate counseling groups, workshops, and psycho-educational outreach. This is a permanent position, full-time, 11 to 12 months.
Required Qualifications
  • Ph.D./Psy.D. in clinical or counseling psychology.
  • Eligible for licensure as a Psychologist according to Department of Health Board of Psychology in the State of Washington.
  • Obtain Washington State licensure within one year of beginning position.
  • Experience providing brief counseling.
  • Experience providing risk assessment and crisis response.
  • Experience facilitating counseling groups.
  • Experience working as a part of a collaborative, team-based approach to clinical services in a fast-paced work setting.
  • Demonstrated competency working with multicultural and other diverse populations.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Minimum of one-year experience working in a college or university counseling center (pre-doctoral internship qualifies).
  • Licensed as a psychologist at the time of application (please specify jurisdiction and date psychologist license was granted).
  • Licensed two or more years as a psychologist.
  • Experience supervising doctoral trainees in a college counseling center.
  • Experience providing outreach and consultation.
  • Background and training working with clients who have experienced trauma.
  • Experience and skills in working with Latinx , African American/Black, American Indian/Alaskan Native, Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander, and/or Asian populations.
  • Experience and skills in working with international student populations.
  • Experience and skills working with first generation students.
  • Experience and skills in providing gender inclusive services.
  • Experience and skills with use of technology to enhance services (such as electronic health records, web-based applications, etc.).
