About the Position

Under the general direction of a Program Manager, you will have the responsibility of managing the campus wide multi-function machine program and providing student copying/printing support services in residential hall labs and public locations.  You will have the responsibility for the entire multi-function machine program including consultation with departments and vendors, machine ordering, installation, network printing problem resolution and print driver installation, campus customer support, tracking, billing and coin-op collection.

The State HR classification for this position is Program Coordinator.

Required Qualifications
  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Three years of experience in operating and supporting multi-functional copiers at a departmental level
  • Extensive knowledge of Excel for program record keeping
  • Ability to use tact, discretion, courtesy in interdepartmental, student, staff, faculty, and public contacts
  • Ability to manage time well and work under pressure situations and deadlines
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively with employees at all levels of the organization
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record
  • Safe working practices and procedures, methods, tools, equipment used in copy machine operation
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with the operation and maintenance of self-serve copiers and card readers in a large organization with a centralized copier program
  • Experience communicating with a variety of users about copier functions and procedures
Salary New hires typically start at $3115/month including an excellent benefits package
Bargaining Unit This position is part of bargaining unit A and is covered by the collective bargaining agreement with the Washington Federation of State Employees
